Hospital staff did not see bodybuilder Luke Wood’s notes, inquest into his death hears

Mr Wood had been released from Westmead five days earlier but attended the transplant clinic as an outpatient. Emergency registrar Dr Sambanthar Muralitharan said he didn’t think Mr Wood’s renal notes, which were locked in the hospital, were accessed when he went to emergency.

When pressed by Deputy State Coroner Sharon Freund, Dr Muralitharan said the electronic notes also hadn’t been relied upon, but said one of the renal specialists had a good knowledge of Mr Wood’s operation.
